About this station
this station is in far north London. Although the area around the station is now more built up, Bushey sometimes retains a somewhat ‘country’ or ‘village’ feel.
It is served by the Lioness (Watford DC) Line, with stopping trains between Euston and Watford Junction, and stopping services on the West Coast Main Line (which stop at Harrow & Wealdstone and then Euston only)
The station has an elegant and decorated building, with a spire topped with a train-shaped weathervane
Platforms
Platforms 3-4 on the fast WCML lines are fenced off, as no trains call there in regular use.
Current accessibility
steep stairs up to all platforms from the subway. My memory from several months/years ago is that the stairs to platform 6 are steeper than those to platforms 1-2, but this might be mistaken.
