Bodmin Parkway

About this station

This station is 9 stations west of Plymouth. It is also the junction between the Cornish Main Line and the heritage Bodmin & Wenford railway, although the junction is rarely used.
The station was formerly known as Bodmin Road and needless to say, was not in Bodmin but 3 miles away! the GWr then built the Bodmin and Wenford branch which was subsequently closed by Beeching.
